Modelling and simulation of an oil refinery, including atmospheric unit, vacuum unit and heat exchanger network.
A refinery simulation model built on the Invensys PROII platform was fully converted into a HYSYS environment including the characterization of a number of feedstocks. The model included the atmospheric distillation plant, the vacuum tower and the associated heat exchanger network.
