The Process Ecology Hydrate Application makes hydrate analysis
more accurate and easier within HYSYS, and allows you to rapidly
compare predictions from multiple calculation methods using a
consistent thermodynamic basis.
The Process Ecology Hydrate Application is accessible as a fully
integrated HYSYS unit operation extension licensed by Process
Ecology Inc.
The Process Ecology Hydrate Application makes hydrate analysis
more accurate and easier within HYSYS, and allows you to rapidly
compare predictions from multiple calculation methods using a
consistent thermodynamic basis.
- Evaluate hydrate formation conditions calculated by
traditional GPSA methods together with more rigorous
hydrate predictions (improved van der Waals-Platteeuw
and Chen-Guo procedures) - Calculate required hydrate inhibitor flowrates using rigorous
and empirical methods (Hammerschmidt and Nielsen-
Bucklin) - Estimate the regeneration heat duty required to recover
hydrate inhibitor
